Trenbolone Cyclohexylmethylcarbonate

Also known as Parabolan · Tren Hex · Trenbolone Hexahydrobenzylcarbonate

A long-acting trenbolone ester (cyclohexylmethylcarbonate), historically the active ingredient in the veterinary product Parabolan. Effects mirror trenbolone: powerful, non-aromatising anabolism with strong androgenic and progestogenic activity and pronounced side effects. Human data are limited and largely anecdotal.

01 Overview

Trenbolone cyclohexylmethylcarbonate (Tren Hex, historically Parabolan) is trenbolone carrying a bulky carbonate ester that slows release, giving a longer duration than acetate and similar to enanthate. It was the one trenbolone ester ever sold as a human-use pharmaceutical (Parabolan), before withdrawal; today it is produced on the underground market.

The active hormone is trenbolone, a potent 19-nor derivative that does not aromatise but is strongly androgenic and progestogenic. It carries the full trenbolone side-effect burden: pronounced suppression, sweating, insomnia, aggression, cardiovascular strain and 'tren cough'. Human evidence is thin and mostly anecdotal, so despite trenbolone's notoriety the research score is modest.

02 Mechanism

Esterases slowly cleave the cyclohexylmethylcarbonate ester to release trenbolone, which binds the androgen receptor with very high affinity, does not aromatise, resists 5-alpha reduction, and has progestogenic activity.
