Trenbolone Hexahydrobenzylcarbonate (Parabolan)
Trenbolone attached to a hexahydrobenzylcarbonate ester, the only trenbolone form ever sold as a human pharmaceutical (Parabolan, France) before withdrawal. Pharmacologically it is trenbolone — extremely potent, non-aromatising, strongly progestogenic — with a long-acting ester. It shares the same severe side-effect burden and the same thin, mostly veterinary/anecdotal evidence base.
01 Overview
Parabolan is trenbolone with a long hexahydrobenzylcarbonate (cyclohexylmethylcarbonate) ester. It is historically notable as the one trenbolone product marketed for humans, by Negma in France, before it was discontinued; that brief human marketing does not amount to a clinical evidence base, so its characterisation still rests largely on veterinary pharmacology and user anecdote.
The active compound and its effects are identical to other trenbolone esters: profound potency, no aromatisation, strong progesterone-receptor activity, and the characteristic heavy side-effect profile of night sweats, insomnia, mood/aggression changes, cardiovascular strain and reduced endurance. The long ester gives a slow, sustained release suited to less frequent injection.
02 Mechanism
Identical to other trenbolone esters — an extremely high-affinity androgen- and progesterone-receptor agonist resistant to aromatase and 5-alpha reductase — differing only in the long hexahydrobenzylcarbonate ester's slow release.
03 Dosing
| Tier | Dose | Route | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 200–300 mg/wk | IM | Very potent; long ester allows once/twice-weekly injection. |
| Heavy | 300–400 mg/wk | IM | Side-effect burden rises steeply. |
