Stenbolone Propionate

Also known as Stenbolone prop · 2-methyl-DHB propionate

The propionate ester of stenbolone (2-methyl-DHB), a mild non-aromatising injectable DHT-derivative. Historically a rare veterinary/human anabolic; the propionate ester gives a short-acting depot. Dry, low-estrogen gains with modest potency.

01 Overview

Stenbolone is 2-methyl-1-dehydro-DHT, a mild non-aromatising anabolic in the same structural neighbourhood as methenolone (Primobolan). The propionate ester here provides a short-acting injectable depot, distinct from the acetate form catalogued separately.

Human data are sparse and largely historical. Being 5α-based and non-aromatising, it gives dry, lean gains with no estrogenic side effects and comparatively mild androgenicity, making it a "cosmetic"/lean-cycle steroid rather than a mass-builder. Its low potency means larger or more frequent doses for a modest effect.

02 Mechanism

Androgen receptor agonist; the 2-methyl and Δ1 features plus 5α saturation prevent aromatisation, so effects are non-estrogenic. The propionate ester is cleaved to release free stenbolone over a few days.
