Alexamorelin
A synthetic hexapeptide GH secretagogue in the GHRP family, structurally related to hexarelin. It stimulates GH release via the ghrelin receptor but has very limited human data and never advanced to approval.
01 Overview
Alexamorelin is a synthetic growth hormone-releasing hexapeptide closely related to hexarelin and the GHRP series. It acts as a ghrelin-receptor agonist to provoke pituitary GH secretion and was studied as an experimental GH secretagogue.
It has essentially no substantial clinical development and appears only in early pharmacological and anti-doping literature, where it is listed among prohibited GH secretagogues. Its human evidence base is minimal, placing it firmly in the uncharacterised research-peptide category.

Agonist at the ghrelin/GHSR-1a receptor, evoking pituitary GH release similarly to hexarelin.
