Fluorexetamine (FXE) is an arylcyclohexylamine dissociative in the methoxetamine/ketamine family that emerged as a research chemical around 2020. It is an NMDA receptor antagonist producing dose-dependent dissociation and anaesthesia, with a longer duration than ketamine. Human data are anecdotal, and bladder toxicity is a plausible class-shared concern.

01 Overview

Fluorexetamine is a fluorinated analogue related to methoxetamine, marketed as a longer-lasting dissociative research chemical. It has no clinical characterisation, and its profile is drawn from user reports and structural analogy to the ketamine-type dissociatives.

Reported effects are dose-dependent dissociation, analgesia and anaesthesia, with a notably long duration that raises the risk of accidental redosing. As with other ketamine-family analogues, urinary-tract and bladder toxicity is a plausible risk with heavy, frequent use, alongside ataxia and confusion.
