MDMAI
MDMAI (N-methyl-5,6-methylenedioxy-2-aminoindane) is the N-methylated homolog of MDAI, a serotonin-selective aminoindane entactogen. It is essentially uncharacterised in humans and is expected to produce gentle MDMA-like emotional effects with minimal stimulation, while still carrying serotonin-syndrome risk.
01 Overview
MDMAI extends the aminoindane entactogen series that includes MDAI and MMAI, structures designed as serotonin-selective, putatively non-neurotoxic releasers. By analogy, MDMAI should give mild empathogenic effects without much stimulation.
There is virtually no human data and no established dosing. Even in the low-neurotoxicity aminoindane class, serotonin-syndrome risk and unknown long-term effects remain. Likely covered by analog or psychoactive-substances laws.
