Flmodafinil (lauflumide, CRL-40,940) is a bis-fluoro analogue of modafinil sold grey-market as a nootropic. It shares modafinil's dopamine-transporter mechanism and is claimed to have higher bioavailability, but it has essentially no human clinical data — its profile is inferred from modafinil and anecdote.

01 Overview

Flmodafinil is the 4,4'-difluoro derivative of modafinil, one of several Cephalon-era 'CRL' analogues. Vendors market it as a more potent, better-absorbed modafinil, but these claims rest on structural analogy and unverified user reports rather than controlled trials.

It is unapproved anywhere and legally ambiguous: not explicitly scheduled in most countries but not a licensed medicine, placing it in a research-chemical grey market. Safety in humans is uncharacterised.
