Drostanolone Acetate

Also known as Masteron Acetate · Drost Ace

A very short-acting acetate ester of drostanolone (Masteron), requiring daily or every-other-day injection. Effects mirror drostanolone: a mild, non-aromatising DHT-derived anabolic with mild anti-estrogenic activity, favoured for hardening and cutting. Ester-specific human data are minimal.

01 Overview

Drostanolone acetate is drostanolone (2-methyl DHT) esterified with acetic acid, giving the shortest release of any Masteron form. The common commercial esters are propionate and enanthate; the acetate is an uncommon underground variant requiring very frequent injection to keep levels stable.

The active hormone is drostanolone, so effects and side effects match Masteron: it does not aromatise, has mild anti-estrogenic activity via aromatase interaction, and produces a hard, dry look valued in contest prep. It is moderately androgenic. Because there are no meaningful human trials of the acetate ester, ratings are low and inferred from drostanolone.

02 Mechanism

The acetate ester is rapidly hydrolysed to release drostanolone, a DHT derivative that binds the androgen receptor, does not aromatise, and can mildly interfere with aromatase, contributing to a 'dry' anti-estrogenic effect.
