Cortagen
Cortagen (Ala-Glu-Asp-Pro) is a synthetic Khavinson bioregulator peptide claimed to support cerebral cortex and peripheral nerve function. Evidence is limited to Russian preclinical and small clinical reports from the originating group; independent human data are absent.
01 Overview
Cortagen was designed as a short synthetic analogue of a cortical peptide extract (cortexin). Developer-group studies report benefits in nerve regeneration and cortical function in animal models and some small clinical settings such as peripheral neuropathy.\n\nAs with the other Khavinson bioregulators, these findings have not been independently replicated in rigorous trials. It is sold as a research peptide with no regulatory approval outside Russia.
