4-HO-pyr-T / 4-HO-PT (4-Hydroxy tryptamine analog)

Also known as 4-Hydroxy-PT · 4-Hydroxy propyltryptamine analog

4-HO-PT refers to 4-hydroxy propyl-substituted tryptamine psilocin analogs. Very obscure research chemicals with no formal human data; effects presumed psilocybin-like by analogy.

01 Overview

4-HO-PT sits in the family of 4-hydroxy psilocin analogs alongside better-known compounds such as 4-HO-DPT and 4-HO-MET. It appears only rarely and has no published pharmacology.

As with other 4-hydroxy tryptamines it is presumed orally active and psilocybin-like, but no safety, potency or pharmacokinetic data exist. All figures below are anecdotal and highly uncertain.

02 Mechanism

Presumed serotonin 5-HT2A receptor agonist like psilocin and its analogs.
