4-Chloroamphetamine
4-Chloroamphetamine (4-CA, PCA) is a para-chlorinated amphetamine best known as a potent, selective serotonergic neurotoxin used in laboratory research. It causes long-lasting depletion of serotonergic neurons in animals and is not used or considered safe for human consumption.

4-CA is primarily a research tool rather than a recreational drug. It is a powerful serotonin releaser that causes selective, long-lasting damage to serotonergic nerve terminals in animal studies, making it a standard agent for producing experimental serotonergic lesions.
Because of this well-documented neurotoxicity, 4-CA is regarded as unsafe at any dose for humans. Any stimulant or entactogenic effects are overshadowed by the risk of lasting serotonergic damage, and it appears only rarely and dangerously in the research-chemical market.
