3-Me-PCE (N-ethyl-3-methyl-norketamine analogue within the arylcyclohexylamine family) is a dissociative research chemical related to eticyclidine (PCE) and the 3-substituted PCP series. Like other arylcyclohexylamines it acts primarily as an NMDA receptor antagonist, producing anaesthetic, dissociative and hallucinogenic effects. Human data are minimal.

01 Overview

3-Me-PCE belongs to the arylcyclohexylamine dissociatives, a family that includes PCP, PCE, ketamine and their many analogues. It is reported to be a relatively potent dissociative but almost no formal pharmacological or safety data exist.

As an NMDA antagonist it can produce dose-dependent dissociation, anaesthesia and psychological effects, with risks of confusion, ataxia and, at high doses, a dissociative 'hole'. Grey-market purity is unreliable and its potency raises the risk of accidental overdose.
