3-HO-PCP is a potent arylcyclohexylamine sold as a research chemical that, unusually for the class, has significant opioid receptor activity in addition to NMDA antagonism. 3-HO-PCP is a hydroxylated PCP analogue distinguished by its notable agonist activity at the mu-opioid receptor alongside potent NMDA antagonism. This means it combines dissociative effects with opioid effects, including euphoria, sedation and, critically, the potential for respiratory depression.
