3-HO-PCE
3-HO-PCE (3-hydroxyeticyclidine) is a novel arylcyclohexylamine dissociative research chemical, the 3-hydroxy analogue of eticyclidine (PCE). It is a potent NMDA antagonist with additional opioid-receptor activity reported for the 3-hydroxy PCP-type structures, and it has essentially no formal human study.
01 Overview
3-HO-PCE belongs to the PCP family and shares the 3-hydroxy substitution seen in 3-HO-PCP, which is associated with mu-opioid receptor affinity on top of NMDA antagonism. Users report it as highly potent, active in low-milligram amounts, with a mix of dissociative and opioid-like qualities.
There are no clinical studies, no pharmacokinetic characterisation and no reliable toxicology in humans. Reports are anecdotal, and the combination of potency and possible opioid activity makes dose errors and respiratory risk plausible.
