25C-NBOH
25C-NBOH is a potent serotonergic psychedelic, the N-(2-hydroxybenzyl) derivative of 2C-C. Active in the sub-milligram to low milligram range and usually taken sublingually or on blotter, it is the hydroxy analogue of 25C-NBOMe. Human data is limited to anecdotal reports and forensic case work; its narrow safety margin makes accidental overdose a real hazard.
01 Overview
25C-NBOH is one of the more frequently seized NBOH compounds and is commonly distributed on blotter, where it can be mistaken for LSD or 25C-NBOMe. As a high-affinity 5-HT2A agonist it is active at very low doses, so minor dosing errors produce large swings in effect and risk.
Formal human pharmacology and toxicology are essentially absent. The related NBOMe series is linked to severe vasoconstriction, seizures, hyperthermia and deaths, and 25C-NBOH should be assumed to share that danger profile given the identical 5-HT2A mechanism and lack of data. The narrow margin between an active and a harmful dose is the central hazard.
