1D-LSD is a semisynthetic lysergamide bearing a 1-cyclopropanecarbonyl-related acyl group on the LSD nitrogen, distributed as a research chemical largely in Germany. It behaves as a prodrug or near-equivalent of LSD with comparable psychedelic effects. Human data is limited to user reports.

01 Overview

1D-LSD is one of a series of N1-acylated LSD derivatives introduced to stay ahead of NPS legislation, particularly in Germany. Like its relatives it is understood to act mainly as a prodrug releasing LSD, or to behave nearly identically to it. It is sold almost entirely on micrograms-dosed blotter.

Reported effects mirror LSD: visuals, mood elevation, cognitive and time distortion and stimulation over a long duration, with potency described as close to LSD. Physiological toxicity is low; the principal risks are psychological, including anxiety and, rarely, lasting perceptual changes.

Believed to act as a prodrug to LSD or directly as a 5-HT2A receptor agonist, the mechanism common to classical psychedelics.
