1cP-LSD

Also known as 1-cyclopropanoyl-LSD · 1-cyclopropionyl-LSD

1cP-LSD (1-cyclopropanoyl-LSD) is a lysergamide prodrug of LSD in which a cyclopropanoyl group is attached to the indole nitrogen. It is thought to convert to LSD in the body and produces essentially LSD-like effects. It emerged as a legal-market alternative to LSD and 1P-LSD. Active doses are in the microgram range; human data are almost entirely anecdotal.

01 Overview

1cP-LSD is a semi-synthetic lysergamide widely regarded as a prodrug that is hydrolysed to LSD in vivo, giving effects that users describe as very close to LSD, sometimes with a marginally slower onset. It appeared on the research-chemical market as successor compounds to LSD and 1P-LSD were introduced to sidestep national bans.

It is active in micrograms and typically distributed on blotter, so dosing precision is limited and potency can vary between batches. As with LSD, the principal risks are psychological, with mild vasoconstriction; overwhelming experiences arise mainly from misjudged dose. Controlled human pharmacology does not exist.

02 Mechanism

Lysergamide agonist at serotonin 5-HT2A (and other serotonin) receptors, likely acting via conversion to LSD in vivo.

Threshold20–50 mcgOralActive in micrograms; blotter dosing is imprecise.
Common75–150 mcgSublingualBroadly comparable to LSD; onset may be slightly slower.
Strong150–300 mcgOralIntense, long experience; higher risk of overwhelming effects.
